The concept of Centerpoint Christianity briefly stated is:

Christianity from the centerpoint outward.

Christianity from the climax forward.

This blog constitutes concepts for a new view of Christianity that begins with what is foundational and moves forward from that point. It is based on the assumption that we are being pulled towards something unseen and pushed from a place that once was.

What Centerpoint Christianity attempts to do is bypass some of the constraints imposed by metanarratives by using the life of Christ and particularly the climactic actions of Christ as beginning points.

It supports the conviction that God is essentially timeless. From this beginning point we endeavor to move outward from the definitive moment of the parousia (visitation) of Christ and forward to the future which functions as a type of magnet to "what can be--and is coming".

When we begin at the life of Christ and move outward as from the centerpoint of a web, rather than in a linear timeline of history, another wide picture emerges.

—Franz Kafka, from a letter to Oskar Pollak dated January 27, 1904.

Altogether, I think we ought to read only books that bite and sting us. If the book we are reading doesn’t shake us awake like a blow to the skull, why bother reading it in the first place? So that it can make us happy, as you put it? Good God, we’d be just as happy if we had no books at all; books that make us happy we could, in a pinch, also write ourselves. What we need are books that hit us like a most painful misfortune, like the death of someone we loved more than we love ourselves, that make us feel as though we had been banished to the woods, far from any human presence, like suicide. A book must be the ax for the frozen sea within us. That is what I believe.

The Frozen sea inside me, this saying /quote made me realise yet again that the hard core of my inner being is as hard as nails. I have prayed about the stone that is like a corn that needs to be ripe before you can cut it out, but the the dead skin around it still needs time to be softened before the place can be really healed, that can take some time.
A sea of frozen Ice might take longer,, I don't know its real depth or its thickness I Know that there was a mini ice age in London and the Thames Froze , the ice was so thick they held markets on it and fairs, they even had fires on the frozen ice. This says something about the inside of me being totally frozen . I need pray about a thaw, and a Spring time coming
